Burraco is a fascinating card game with origins in Italy, typically played by 2 to 4 participants, often in teams of two. It has gained significant popularity in various Balkan countries, including Greece, Croatia, and Serbia.

The gameplay revolves around melding cards into specific sets and sequences. Players can form clean Burracos, which exclude wild cards (jokers and twos), or dirty Burracos that include these wild cards. To successfully create a Burraco, a player must meld at least seven cards. There is also the option of forming semi-clean Burracos, which consist of eight or more cards and may include a sequence of seven consecutive natural cards with one wild card or at least one set of seven cards with a wild card. Notably, clean Burracos carry a higher point value compared to their dirty counterparts, adding a strategic layer to the game.

Moreover, players can utilize the "pozzetto" to aid in their scoring and avoid penalties. The structure of the scoring system is as follows: jokers are valued at 30 points, twos at 20 points, and aces at 15 points. The face cards (K, Q, J) and the 10s through 8s are each worth 10 points, while the lower numbered cards (7 through 3) carry a value of 5 points each.

Ultimately, the objective is to outmaneuver your opponents to secure victory.
